As outlined in the
2005 - Dam Inspection Report the gate house that protects our newly installed stainless steel valve and gate mechanism (dam) is in desperate need of repairs.
The project will be completed in 3 phases:
Phase I - Replace roof
Phase II - Replace rotted boards and doors
Phase III - Install vinyl siding and aluminum trim
This project was started in the summer of 2009 and completed in the fall of 2010. Thanks to all the volunteers for their time and hard work, and a special thanks to GA Siding and C&S Lumber for their outstanding contributions and community service, as they have cut our costs by over 50% in materials and labor.
Phase I
- Install pressure treated plywood underlayment and asphault roof.
Phase II - Replace rotted boards and doors.
Phase III - Install vinyl siding and aluminum trim.
